MY CHOICES

“Each choice I've made on the ground or in the sky has been about proving to myself that limits exist only if I accept them.”

SKY DIVING

"Falling from the sky felt like rising above every limitation life placed on me."Skydiving wasn't just a sport it was a statement. In November 2023, I became the youngest person to complete a solo skydive from 13,000 ft with a prosthetic leg. That moment in freefall, where gravity surrendered and silence roared, was when I realized: the sky is no longer the limit it's my home. For someone who once spent more time in hospital beds than classrooms, this was freedom in its purest form. Every second I spent up there reminded me that I was never meant to be grounded by fear or disability. Skydiving taught me to let go of doubt, of pity, of everything that ever told me "you can't." Now, I'm training for even higher jumps, aiming for a record breaking 45,000 ft leap. Because the only direction I've ever wanted to go is up.

CYCLING

"Every pedal stroke became a silent rebellion—a refusal to be defined by pain."Before the sky, there was the road. I turned to cycling at a time when my body was breaking down kidney failure, infections, surgeries. But I kept moving. I rode 230 km in just 12 hours, and later embarked on a 1,000 km solo journey, carrying not just my prosthetic leg, but the weight of everything I had survived. Cycling gave me rhythm when life felt chaotic. It became my escape and my training ground. It was on those long rides through Kerala's roads and hills that I rebuilt my stamina, my courage, and my belief in what's possible. For me, cycling wasn't just a sport it was resistance. Against illness. Against limitation. Against every time I was told to "slow down." I didn't. I never will.

SCUBA DIVING

"Beneath the surface, I found silence, strength, and freedom."Scuba diving wasn't just about exploring the ocean it was about discovering a new part of myself. After skydiving through the clouds and cycling across terrains, I chose to dive deep, quite literally. Underwater, there is no noise, no rush only breath, focus, and peace. For someone who has fought battles with his body, diving into the unknown brought me face-to-face with calm and control. Every dive is a reminder that I am not limited to land or sky even the depths are within reach when you trust your breath and your belief.

PARAGLIDING

"I don't just rise, I glide with purpose."Paragliding gave me a different kind of freedom not the adrenaline of freefall, but the calm control of navigating the wind. It was about trust trust in the wing, in my training, and in myself. When I earned my paragliding pilot license, I wasn't just flying, I was rewriting what it means to be differently-abled. Each flight is a balance between fear and focus, gravity and grace. As I soar above the mountains and valleys, I carry with me every scar, every surgery, every setback and I turn them into lift. Because this choice wasn't just about flying it was about reclaiming my direction.
